It is with great sadness that we have to inform you of the death of
Christine Coleman.

Christine passed away on the 19th of December after a short illness.
It was all very sudden, and the family are in shock and naturally still
grieving at this time. So sad that it not only so close to Christmas but
also to what would have been her birthday.

It’s a great loss to the parchment community as Christine was a
pioneer in developing her style and techniques which we still use
today.

Christine also played a huge part in the Academy although kept in
the background but designs we have of hers are those she gave
freely to us to use. It was a difficult time when Christine came to Pat
and said she wanted to play a part and design for us. As back then
we really needed a friend to enable us to keep the Academy afloat.
